M Clinic uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI's ChatGPT) to conduct telephone conversations with patients. While we strive for accuracy, AI systems can make errors including mishearing patient details, scheduling incorrect times, or misunderstanding requests. Clinics must maintain their own verification procedures.
Our service depends on:
OpenAI (ChatGPT API) — If OpenAI experiences downtime or degraded performance, our AI receptionist may become unavailable or respond with errors. We have no control over OpenAI's service availability.
Vonage (Telephony) — Call routing depends on Vonage's infrastructure. Network issues may affect call quality or connectivity.
Google Cloud — Appointment storage and calendar synchronisation depend on Google's services.
Citizen Peace Limited (operating as M Clinic) expressly disclaims liability for:
• Service interruptions or outages caused by any third-party provider
• Incorrectly transcribed patient names, phone numbers, or dates of birth
• Missed, double-booked, or incorrectly scheduled appointments
• Any medical, financial, or operational consequences arising from service errors
• Data loss due to Google Cloud or Firebase issues
• Call quality degradation due to network conditions
By subscribing to M Clinic, the clinic acknowledges that:
• This is a beta service under active development
• AI may make transcription or scheduling errors
• The clinic must maintain backup scheduling procedures
• The clinic should regularly review AI-scheduled appointments for accuracy
• The clinic is responsible for informing patients that calls are handled by an AI system
All customers are required to acknowledge these terms upon registration. Continued use of the service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these limitations.
